Responsibilities

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in a Data Center Environment
Must have a good background in wiring infrastructure installation and removal
Must have experience installing, troubleshooting, terminating, labeling, and testing, copper Cat-5, 6 and fiber optic wiring
Experience troubleshooting server, switch, routers, and other hardware in a sometimes fast paced environment
Experience working on Windows OS with assisted strong problem-solving skills. and Experience working with Office products Word, Excel, PPT , Visio and other remote utility tools, Windows programs
Able to handle high Priority ticket situations to complete task during outages
Able to work on rotational shift between 7am to 7pm shifts and Willingness to respond and work during afterhours on-call support (rotational basis)
Able to be available for On-Call - 2 weeks rotating schedule, this is a 24/7 Data center support center premises
Ensure compliance with data security standards and best practices

Required

5-8+ years of experience
Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in a Data Center Environment

High School Diploma or degree in computer science, information technology, or similar
Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and vendor support teams
Proficiency in email communication
Follow safety guidelines in the Data Center and DC Workroom
Wear steel toe or composite toe footwear and be able to stand for long periods at a time in the Data Center
Have a valid TX Driver License and must have reliable self-transportation at any point in time
Can lift up to 50-75 pounds
