Build Data Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to move and transform data
Data Transformation: Cleanse, map, and optimize data for analysis
Manage Data Stores: Work with data lakes, data warehouses (like Synapse), and databases
Automate Tasks: Deploy production code and automate data workflows
Collaborate: Support data scientists, analysts, and developers
Qualification
Required
8 years of experience in data engineering
Strong SQL skills for querying
Python skills for scripting, including PySpark
Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Experience with Azure Databricks
Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
Experience with Azure Cosmos DB
Experience with Azure DevOps
Foundational knowledge of Apache Spark
Foundational knowledge of Hadoop
Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts
Understanding of Data Modeling concepts
Experience with ETL processes
Experience with CI/CD practices
Ability to design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes
Ability to cleanse, map, and optimize data for analysis
Ability to work with data lakes and data warehouses
Ability to deploy production code and automate data workflows
Ability to collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and developers
