Responsibilities
Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple site engineering projects and personnel, both design and construction
Work closely with Project Managers in understanding client needs and expectations
Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies
Read, interpret and prepare site engineering plans, specifications and reports
Provides technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members
May assist with business development activities (client needs, research, proposals, etc.)
Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina
4+ years' progressive experience in the civil engineering field, including experience in private and/or public land development projects
Experience in plan and specification development with design/construction contract administration
High proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Knowledge of local site permitting processes and requirements
Possess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required
Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment without a need for current or future visa sponsorship
