Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing features, ensuring robust coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
Automation & Manual Testing: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts alongside manual testing efforts to validate application performance, functionality, and security
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, working collaboratively with development teams to facilitate prompt resolution
Collaboration: Engage with developers, product managers, and QA peers to understand requirements, discuss test strategies, and improve overall software quality
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with QA best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to enhance testing methodologies and tools
Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and quality metrics
Qualification
Required
Only candidates currently based in the Atlanta, GA area will be considered for this role
This position is not remote
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Proficiency in quality assurance methodologies and test automation frameworks
Familiarity with tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or similar testing/bug-tracking software
Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to sharing insights and learning from peers
5-10 years of professional experience in software quality assurance
Preferred
Basic scripting or programming experience (e.g., C#, JavaScript) is a plus
