Responsibilities
Develop secure, high-quality production code using Java and Python while reviewing and debugging peer contributions
Provide technical guidance and direction to internal teams, contractors, and vendors to support business objectives
Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations
Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams regarding architectural designs and system applicability
Automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems
Qualification
Required
Five or more years of applied software engineering experience with advanced proficiency in Java and Python
In-depth technical knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, GCP, ReactJS, Terraform, and ETL processes
Proven experience in system design, application development, testing, and cloud-native operations
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security protocols
Experience within the financial services industry and associated IT systems
