5+ years expNDNY Architecture + Design is an award-winning full-service architecture firm specializing in adaptive reuse and renovations. They are looking to hire a full-time Intermediate Architect who will work on multiple projects, develop design concepts, and manage client communications.

Responsibilities
Independently work on 2-3 small projects at a time. Develop and communicate design concepts in collaboration with the team
Create project presentations and present work during client meetings
In charge of day-to-day communication and interfacing with client teams under supervision of Partners
Produce and execute project deliverables including project schedule, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Drawing sets, schedules, and specification
Working knowledge of NYC building codes and LPC and DOB permitting process
Coordinate project sub-consultants such as MEP, structural and lighting designers
Proficient in Construction Administration, review of shop drawings, drafting RFI responses, and providing clarification sketches as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ post-degree years of experience at an architecture office, including experience on the Design and Construction phases of architecture projects
Experience with production of Construction Documents and managing Construction Administration
Excellent English language communication and client-facing skills
Proficient in Revit, Autocad & Adobe Creative Suite
Currently living in NYC and available to start soon
Legally eligible to work in the United States, without need for employer sponsorship
