Responsibilities

Serve as the Broker-in-Charge as defined by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission
Ensure compliance with all NCREC rules, state laws, and brokerage policies
Supervise and manage all affiliated brokers and provisional brokers
Oversee trust account management and ensure proper handling of client funds
Review and maintain transaction files, contracts, and disclosures
Provide training, mentoring, and ongoing support to agents
Establish and enforce office policies and procedures
Address and resolve compliance issues, complaints, or disputes
Act as the primary point of contact with the North Carolina Real Estate Commission
Promote ethical conduct and best practices within the brokerage

Required

Active North Carolina Real Estate Broker License
Current Broker-in-Charge (BIC) eligible status or BIC designation
Minimum experience required by NCREC to serve as BIC

Proven leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Preferred

Prior experience serving as a Broker-in-Charge
Experience managing or supervising a real estate office or team
Strong administrative and compliance background
