Responsibilities
Preparing civil engineering designs
Conducting site assessments
Creating technical specifications for transportation, utility, and storm drainage infrastructure projects
Performing analyses
Preparing drawings and reports
Coordinating with various stakeholders
Ensuring project compliance with local regulations and industry standards
Contributing to the planning and execution of projects
Collaborating with other team members and clients
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in civil engineering design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation
Experience with transportation, utilities, and storm drainage design principles
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform site assessments and technical evaluations
Effective communication and collaboration skills for interfacing with clients, team members, and stakeholders
Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and standards in civil engineering
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe
Preferred
Previous experience working on municipal or public infrastructure projects is a plus
