Responsibilities
Lead & Manage: Oversee a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring timely and efficient facility repairs
Keep Operations Running Smoothly: Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and critical building systems to ensure functionality
Implement Preventative Maintenance: Develop and execute a proactive maintenance program that prioritizes safety and efficiency
Collaborate Across Departments: Work with leadership and department heads to address and prioritize facility maintenance needs
Vendor & Contractor Coordination: Establish and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers
Foster a Culture of Safety & Respect: Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-first environment within the maintenance team
Qualification
Required
Proven background in maintenance management, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or a similar setting
Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance team
Strong understanding of building systems, safety protocols, and industry best practices
A hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving facility issues
Ability to effectively coordinate across departments, vendors, and staff
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted
