Assistant Director of Video Operations
Utah State University is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Director of Video Operations. This role involves managing video operations for athletic projects, supervising staff, and collaborating with coaching staff on film management and statistical analysis.

Responsibilities
Manage video operations through coordinating, capturing, and production of a wide variety of projects involving video
Supervise game entry and statistical reports used by coaching staff
Filming various sports for coaches’ film, post-production editing, software and hardware research and installation, equipment inventory, maintenance of internal network system, and general office duties as instructed
Recruit, hire, and supervise a group of student staff
Manage and organize the in-house and cloud-based statistical analysis tools and databases
Organize game plans within Catapult and supervise the filming of all football practices and games, for coaching evaluation purposes
Attend home and away football games in order to record events for coaching evaluation and historical archiving
Coordinate the set-up and viewing of on-location presentations for away games, coaching clinics, and other team functions
Assist in maintaining equipment including troubleshooting, repairs, and provide technical assistance to coaches and athletic department staff
Coordinate all open exchange games for NCAA and NFL teams while working closely with coaching staff on film management within Catapult
Collaborate with staff to perform administrative tasks in line with program and department goals
Assist, when needed, the live streaming of various athletic events and attend developmental conferences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Working knowledge of Catapult/DVSport and Pro Football Focus (PFF) in a collegiate environment
Experience in coordinating and working IGV (In Game Video) during football games
Demonstrates experience and extensive knowledge of and ability to creatively shoot and edit video in an athletic environment for internal projects
Produce and edit videos utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud
Working knowledge of professional camera brands
Work collaboratively with other department staff
Knowledgeable of the NCAA rules and a commitment to adhere to all rules and regulations of Utah State University, the Pac-12 Conference, and the NCAA
Must have a creative and innovative technical mind, be self-motivated, and be resourceful
Understanding of IT management
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment is required
Familiar with common procedures and prioritizing in a high pace environment
General knowledge of computers, various storage devices, and general audio/video equipment
Preferred
Video production and editing experience (1-3 years) in an intercollegiate program
Experience working with coaches in collegiate athletics
