Responsibilities
Manage the development and certification of wireless products, including coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain close relationships with carriers/operators, ensuring that all carrier certification requirements are met, and that products are approved in a timely manners
Demonstrate a clear understanding of carriers’ requirements and a process, and use this knowledge to drive product development and certification
Maintain effective communication both internally and externally, including with product development teams, management, and clients
Manage client escalations, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner
Build strong relationships with 3rd party partners to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards
Continuously improve processes and procedures to ensure the highest quality products and delivered on time and on budget
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
3+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in the wireless industry
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of wireless communication technologies such as 4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC
Knowledge of wireless carrier certification processes and requirements, including FCC, PTCRB, GCF, and carrier-specific certifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage customer escalations and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Familiarity with wireless product design and development processes, including hardware, firmware, and software development
Familiarity with wireless test equipment and tools such as signal generators, signal analyzers, and protocol analyzers
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred
Knowledge of wireless carrier certification processes and requirements, including FCC, PTCRB, GCF, and carrier-specific certifications will be a plus
Familiarity with PC OEM 4G/5G requirements is a plus
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
Willingness to travel: 25%
Mandarin proficiency is a plus
