Responsibilities
Coordinates, assigns and oversees the proper execution of the preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs carried out in the different systems
Maintains and follows proper compliance and systems requirements
Coordinates, assigns, and oversees the basic solution of problems, repairs and maintenance on facility equipment, controls and systems, including water, fire/life safety and security systems
Coordinates with contractors and service providers who perform more complex repairs and maintenance of equipment and building
Utilizes standard and cordless power tools
Manages daily facilities requests, DocuSphere Workflow, and MP2
Assists in movement of office furniture, materials and equipment as required
Maintains preventive maintenance logs
Disposes of waste chemicals and materials following approved safety processes and procedures
On call responder for alarm calls (evening and weekend coverage)
Performs additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Five (5) years maintenance or facilities experience
Current CA driver license, with excellent driving record
Mechanical/electrical aptitude with problem solving skills
General knowledge of plumbing
Knowledge at BMS user level
Clean Room and controlled environment experience
Must be a self-starter that works well with people at all levels
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
Proficient math skills
Must be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Proficient with MS Office, Excel and Outlook
Preferred
Knowledge of phone/data systems is a plus
Experience with 5/S Program
Knowledge of occupational health
Certificate in trade school or equivalent work experience related to project management, vendor management, facilities and/or maintenance
