Responsibilities
Create, analyze, and test product prototypes using CAD software and other engineering tools to meet functional requirements
Manage the entire development cycle, from conceptual design to manufacturing, ensuring products are ready for market launch
Conduct feasibility studies, simulation, and physical testing to ensure prototypes meet safety, quality, and performance standards
Work with marketing, sales, and operations to align product features with customer needs and company goals
Evaluate materials and design alternatives to ensure product costs remain within budget
Maintain detailed technical documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and design history files
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field)
Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
Proficiency in FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
Proficiency in prototyping techniques
Previous experience in product design, R&D, or manufacturing
Strong analytical skills
Strong creative problem-solving skills
