Senior LevelA confidential, private equity–backed home healthcare provider is seeking a highly hands-on Controller due to growth within the organization. The Controller is responsible for owning the day-to-day accounting function while building scalable processes in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.

Responsibilities
Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple legal entities
Ensure timely, accurate GAAP financial statements and management reporting packages
Maintain and enhance the general ledger, chart of accounts, and accounting policies
Prepare variance analysis and partner with FP&A/CFO on financial insights
Manage AR, AP, and cash flow forecasting in coordination with finance leadership
Support treasury management, banking relationships, and covenant reporting
Design, implement, and maintain internal controls appropriate for a PE-backed organization
Lead annual audit, tax coordination, and lender reporting processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP, state and federal regulations, and PE reporting requirements
Drive process improvements to support scalability and efficiency
Implement best practices across accounting, close cadence, and reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Experience as a Controller or senior accounting leader in a PE-backed or sponsor-owned company
Proven experience owning the full close process in a multi-entity and/or multi-location business
Thrives in PE-backed environments with urgency, accountability, and change
Preferred
CPA is preferred
Previous public accounting experience preferred
Previous Home Healthcare experience preferred
