Responsibilities
Complete assigned work orders within 48 hours
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues
Provide respectful, professional service to residents
Log all completed work orders in ResMan
Prepare vacant units for occupancy within 7 calendar days
Perform painting, flooring repairs, sheetrock patching, resurfacing, and cleaning
Assist with inspections to ensure quality and readiness
Use tools and materials efficiently to minimize costs
Complete assigned preventive maintenance tasks on schedule
Assist with inspections of pools, fire systems, boilers, and lighting
Follow OSHA/EPA and company safety standards
Report hazards immediately
Support Lead Maintenance and Make Ready staff daily
Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response
Assist in training new technicians on basic repairs and safety
Qualification
Required
1+ year of multifamily maintenance or trade experience
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
Comfortable using maintenance tools safely and efficiently
Strong customer service and communication skills
Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
Preferred
HVAC certification preferred
EPA certification a plus
