Responsibilities
Responsible for the layout and construction of framing and drywall installations on large industrial projects on a military base
Oversee a crew of framing and drywall installers to ensure all work is completed within the scope of the project
Implement the required safety practices in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values
Qualification
Required
A high school diploma or GED is the preferred minimum formal education for this position
Two or more years of work experience in a Framing/Drywall Foreman position (e.g. Scheduling, ordering, field supervision, safety, and production) over framing/drywall trades on medium or large projects
Five or more years of field trade work in construction (drywall preferred)
CPR, First Aid Certification required; Training can be provided
All candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire
All candidates must successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check, including a stricter Department of Defense background check, for access to job site at military base (if applicable for position being hired for)
Preferred
College/trade school courses in construction management preferred
Experience in the government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) preferred. Training can be provided
OSHA 30-hour Certification and EM-385 preferred; Training can be provided
Spanish-English bilingual skills desirable
