Responsibilities
Manage and grow a 20-person engineering team, ensuring alignment to the product roadmap while fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and pride in craft
Transition the org from a flat hierarchy into a scalable model (e.g., pods), empowering engineers and optimizing collaboration
Provide technical guidance, participate in code reviews, and help broker complex design decisions to keep standards high
Create an environment rooted in clear communication, fast execution, and respectful collaboration
Regularly participate in design/architecture discussions and contribute to critical paths in the stack (Routes, Accounts, Crowd Liquidity, client applications)
Standardize use of AI coding, testing, and review tools; set norms for fast iteration, experimentation, and documentation using AI
Qualification
Required
Experience leading small, senior engineering teams (roughly 8–20 engineers) as an engineering manager or lead, earning credibility through both technical depth and cultural impact at A/B-stage companies
Hands-on experience in at least one of Solidity, JS/TS, or Rust, with a track record of driving architecture and design discussions across multiple systems
High fluency with modern AI development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.) and experience setting team norms around their use
