Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and support public cloud-based infrastructure in Google GCP, Amazon AWS, and Microsoft Azure environments
Create and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) through Terraform. optimize, and maintenance and maintain version control, using best practices to ensure it is reliable, secure, and performant
Implement 'Infrastructure as Code' using best practices. Create alerts as per KPIs to ensure the team is getting required alerts
Manage day-to-day Cloud Engineering Project Delivery and tasks. Act as Cloud Engineers being the primary point in driving TFE standard processes, troubleshooting methodologies, and setting the tone for excellence
Create and maintain runbooks/playbooks for operational support of the GCP environment
Provide technical support, including triage, root cause analysis, and resolution
Define and track operational metrics for Production performance, reliability, scalability, and availability dimensions
Optimize the cost of infrastructure following GCP pricing model and recommending solutions to cut operational costs
Ensures that the GCP environment remains in compliance with current standards and guidelines
Research and stay up to date on the latest capabilities and industry trends
Lead investigating and debugging environmental issue pre and post deployment with internal engineers, software developers, and vendors
Follow company protocols to ensure the highest level of security to protect the client Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
Collaborate with network engineering and network/security operations teams to ensure a secure zero-trust cloud environment
Specialize in migrating functions and networks to private, public, and hybrid cloud infrastructures

Required

5+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering with solid GCP / Google Cloud experience
5 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code Technologies (Terraform, Ansible)
Familiarity with configuration as code languages such as (HCL, YAML, JSON, Python)
5 years of experience with DevOps best practices such as CI/CD and source code management (Github)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
Experience in working with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Google Cloud Deployment Manager, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
Experience with CI/CD, Docker, and other modern software engineering practices
Understanding and familiarity with DevOps principles and procedures
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred

Certification in Terraform, GCP, AWS, or Azure
Experience with Kubernetes
Programming/scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Java, JavaScript)
