Securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information
Ensuring this is documented timely and accurately
Provides superior customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of patients, visitors, physicians and PHS staff

Qualification

Customer service experienceHealthcare registrationMedical TerminologyCertified Healthcare Access AssociateCertified Revenue Cycle SpecialistSoft skills

Required

1 year of experience in customer service or healthcare registration

Preferred

Coursework/Training and Some college level course work preferred particularly Medical Terminology or Medical Assistant coursework
Upon hire: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) or Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)
Previous registrar and third party payor experience
