Responsibilities
Manage multiple workstreams and serve as the subject matter expert in those areas
Develop and impact strategy with cross-functional partners as it relates to workstreams and the business
Create new UX designs and prototypes in Figma and direct designers as needed
Manage cross-functional processes and meetings, evaluate and enhance team processes, and strategize on improving design strategy across the line of business
Work on a range of complex projects related to the team's goals and cross-functional outcomes
Conduct in-depth analyses and evaluations of variable factors
Take initiative on improving cross-functional processes, understanding the platform, and proposing new ideas
Understand the strengths and gaps on the team and seek ways to grow them
Build strong relationships with people on the immediate team and across the company
Know key stakeholders and peers to better understand how their work connects
Fine-tune expertise in the field and regularly use professional concepts to resolve complex issues facing the team and cross-functional partners
Create formal networks with key decision makers and cross-functional partners
Keep abreast of industry trends
Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate activities of others
Maintain meticulous attention to detail
Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills
Constantly think of and implement ways to uplevel quality of work produced by the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
12+ years of related experience required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Preferred
Advanced degree preferred
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
