Staff DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and implement Azure cloud architectures, including networking, identity, compute, storage, and security services to support scalable and secure platforms
Define and enforce cloud standards, patterns, and best practices across Azure environments
Design and support CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevSecOps engineers, ensuring pipelines align with cloud architecture and deployment strategies (GitLab CI/CD)
Provide technical leadership on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy, including tooling selection, reference implementations, and reusable modules/templates
Serve as a technical escalation point for complex cloud, infrastructure, and deployment challenges
Mentor and guide engineers on cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and DevSecOps practices
Evaluate and recommend Azure services, tools, and technologies to improve platform reliability, scalability, and security

Required

Preferred

Experience in architecting and integrating CI/CD ecosystems using GitLab, Nexus, Ansible, and Terraform
Experience operating and supporting workloads in an Azure cloud environment
Experience automating workflows and integrating tools within CI/CD and cloud environments
Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)
Experience using Agile software development tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, JIRA, Confluence, CI/CD platforms)
Demonstrated ability to mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction across teams
Current Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it
