Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain sanitation procedures that meet regulatory and industry standards
Create cleaning schedules and coordinate activities to keep production running smoothly
Conduct inspections of equipment, facilities, and production areas to ensure top-tier hygiene
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with regulatory agencies and internal teams to meet all food safety, sanitation, and occupational safety requirements
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
Keep policies and procedures up to date and communicate them clearly throughout the organization
Lead a dedicated, self-directed sanitation team
Recruit, coach, and develop employees to support current and future plant needs
Foster a safe, productive work environment and ensure all equipment is well-maintained
Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives across the plant
Qualification
Required
5–7 years in sanitation management within food manufacturing
Knowledge of GMP, SQF audits, FDA, HACCP, OSHA, and related regulations
Hands-on experience with cleaning chemicals, manufacturing equipment, and line start-ups
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to implement process improvements and lead cross-functional initiatives
