Responsibilities
Customer Excellence: Assess customer needs, provide appropriate product knowledge, and conduct transactions with accuracy
Sales Strategy: Utilize suggestive selling and upselling strategies to meet location goals
Regulatory Compliance: Follow all safety and ABCA (Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration) rules and policies
Inventory & POS: Assist with inventory tasks and record transactions accurately in the POS system
Store Standards: Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and organization of the sales floor; perform opening/closing duties as assigned
Professionalism: Maintain a positive, respectful attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times
Qualification
Required
Must be 21 years of age or older (Statutory requirement)
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in retail, sales, or hospitality
Must be eligible to obtain a D.C. Medical Cannabis Employee Registration, including a Certificate of Clean Hands (no debts over $1,000 to the District)
Exceptional communication skills and basic math proficiency
Must be willing to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
