Responsibilities

Develop lasting relationships with all key retail industry stakeholders and executives
Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets, identify growth sectors, and tailor outreach to key markets with a focus on consumer retail enterprises
Recruit, coach, and mentor high-performing sales professionals to scale the sales organization
Drive complex, strategic sales cycles with C-level executives and other stakeholders, focusing on consultative selling and demonstrating ROI
Work closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align sales and partnerships efforts with product development and go-to-market strategies
Establish and refine repeatable sales processes, maintain accurate forecasting, manage CRM hygiene, and beyond
Influence the retail industry through thought leadership to help cement market leadership for Verneek

Required

Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, cloud-based SaaS, and related technologies, including the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Proven experience in enterprise technology sales, complex solution selling, and selling to C-level executives
A track record of building and scaling high-performing sales teams, often in high-velocity, hypergrowth environments
The ability to develop and execute sophisticated go-to-market strategies and define the sales playbook for new AI markets
Excellent listening, presentation, and negotiation skills to build trust and connect complex AI solutions with client needs
Strong organizational skills, proficiency with CRM platforms, and an ability to use data-driven frameworks for decision-making
Exceptional ability to foster relationships that create enduring trust and engagement for Verneek
Master's Degree
Enterprise Sales Background
Retail Experience
Work authorization in the USA at the time of hire
