Senior LevelNorth Star Advisors is seeking 1 to 2 senior Fractional CFO Partners based in Houston to help expand their Texas presence. This role involves sourcing and qualifying clients who need senior finance leadership and delivering high-quality fractional CFO work on a regular basis.

Responsibilities
Source and qualify founder-led, sponsor-backed, and investor-backed clients who need senior finance leadership
Scope and price engagements (retainers preferred)
Deliver CFO cadence: cash forecasting, KPI reporting, budget vs actual, board materials, decision support
Support capital structure work when needed (lender materials, covenant and maturity planning, refinancing readiness)
Qualification
Required
1 to 2 senior Fractional CFO Partners based in Houston
Ability to originate opportunities and deliver (or co-deliver) high-quality fractional CFO work with a repeatable monthly cadence
Source and qualify founder-led, sponsor-backed, and investor-backed clients who need senior finance leadership
Scope and price engagements (retainers preferred)
Deliver CFO cadence: cash forecasting, KPI reporting, budget vs actual, board materials, decision support
Support capital structure work when needed (lender materials, covenant and maturity planning, refinancing readiness)
Former CFO / VP Finance / Corp Dev / investment banking professionals with real operating cadence experience
Strong Houston relationships across management teams, sponsors, lenders, and advisors
Wants autonomy and upside tied to recurring mandates, not one-off projects
