Administrative Assistant 2
The State of Alaska's Department of Health is seeking an Administrative Assistant 2 to provide administrative support for the Division of Public Assistance. This role involves working closely with the Director’s office to ensure compliance with policies and procedures while supporting Alaskans in need.

Responsibilities
You will provide administrative support for the Division of Public Assistance (DPA), primarily focused on the Juneau-based Director’s office, extending to statewide work as requested
You will work closely with the Administrative Services Unit within the Director’s Office to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and best practices as directed by DPA leadership
Qualification
Required
Six months of entry-level technical experience in one or more administrative functional areas such as human resources, accounting, administration, and procurement
One year of advanced-level clerical experience
One year of post-secondary education from an accredited college (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours equals 1 year)
One year of any combination of post-secondary education, vocational education, and/or advanced-level clerical experience
At the time of the interview, please provide three (3) professional references whom we may contact by phone, one (1) of whom must be your current or most recent supervisor
