Responsibilities
RF / MMIC Design & Development
Circuit design, schematic capture, and RF simulation/analysis
Layout design with full DRC/LVS compliance
Parasitic-aware layout optimization
EM simulation and model extraction
Correlation of simulation results with silicon measurements
Silicon testing, characterization, and debugging
Support the full development lifecycle from tape-out to mass production
Design and integration of RF and MMIC blocks including:
Front-End Modules (FEM)
LNA, PA, Switch, Attenuator, Phase Shifter
Power Detector, Mixer, VCO, Filter
Integrated RF sub-blocks for Sub-1GHz, 2.4GHz, 5GHz, LPWAN, Wi-Fi, BLE, GNSS, and related IoT standards
Patent idea generation and invention disclosures
Collaboration with patent attorneys on filings
Drafting technical descriptions, claims, and embodiments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
10+ years of RF / MMIC design experience for Senior Engineer; less than 10 years of relevant RF / MMIC design experience for Junior Engineer
Strong understanding of RF theory and microwave circuit design
Experience with FEM integration and RF system-level considerations
Proficiency in RF simulation, EM tools, and silicon validation
Knowledge of CMOS, SOI, SiGe, and/or GaAs device behavior
English: Required
Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones
Clear written and verbal communication in technical discussions
Preferred
Hands-on experience in at least one full tape-out to mass production cycle for Senior Engineer
Experience with patent filing or invention disclosure
Named inventor on RF, analog, or MMIC-related patents is a plus
Experience with IoT standards (Wi-Fi, BLE, Sub-1GHz, LPWAN, GNSS)
Knowledge of RF packaging, module integration, and co-design
Korean: Preferred but not required
