Responsibilities

Supports the Convocation Center Director with planning, coordination, and execution of all internal/external events
Supports the Convocation Center Director with overall maintenance and scheduling of the Convocation Center
Serve as the liaison for primary stake holders and event organizers, ensuring facility readiness and adherence to specifications
Communicate and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and campus departments (IT, custodial, public safety, etc.)
Provide high-level customer service to all stakeholders
Enforce building policies, procedures, and safety protocols during all events and daily operations
Support the Convocation Center Director with invoices, purchase orders, and other administrative documentation related to center operations
Collaborate with university marketing or external partners to promote facility use

Required

Must have a Federal Work Study award
Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Georgia Gwinnett College
Must be in good academic standing and maintain good academic standing for the duration of employment
Must be in good conduct standing with the Office of Student Integrity and maintain good conduct for the duration of employment
Professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills
Ability to apply judgment and discretion in performing confidential personnel matters
Ability to be highly organized, attentive to details, time management, and multi-tasking skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred

Interest in building operations, events, and athletics
High level problem solving/critical thinking skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work with adobe suite, Microsoft office suite, and overall technology
