Mid LevelStellantis is seeking a Quality Focused Design Release Engineer to join their refrigerant loop team at the Headquarters & Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI. The role involves addressing warranty and quality issues related to AC compressors and AC lines, while collaborating with various stakeholders to identify root causes and improve processes.

Responsibilities
Help triage and root cause issues related to AC compressors and AC lines
Document the issues and maintain relevant presentations
Work with the global issue management (GIM) and AI data analysis tool
Support onsite part reviews and make necessary trips to suppliers or Stellantis plants
Interface with multiple stakeholders such as powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling and suppliers
Support bench level testing and vehicle reviews to identify root causes
Lead meetings and establish containment actions for quality related issues
Product development and maintaining DVPR
Qualification
Required
Blend of component development and quality background from any automotive or similar background
Focus on root causing warranty/quality issues related to AC compressors and AC lines
Ability to document issues and maintain relevant presentations
Experience working with global issue management (GIM), AI data analysis tool, and statistical tools
Support onsite part reviews and make necessary trips to suppliers or Stellantis plants
Interface with multiple stakeholders such as powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling, and suppliers
Support bench level testing and vehicle reviews to identify root cause and help fix issues for critical warranty topics
Lead meetings and establish containment actions for quality related issues pertaining to refrigerant loop
Product development and maintaining DVPR
