Responsibilities

Provide leadership and manage the day-to-day operations of Rec Well facilities including the Nicholas Recreation Center and Bakke Recreation & Wellbeing Center
Create, implement, and facilitate student employee trainings that may occur outside business hours or on weekends
Work with Facility Services team for the upkeep, cleanliness, and maintenance of all activity spaces and equipment, including routine facility audits
Create and maintain student staff job duties through Connect2Concepts, facility management software
Implement and provide feedback on Rec Well policies and guidelines
Collaborate to ensure consistency of processes and policies across all facilities and develop, review, and evaluate student employee resources
Aid in the creation and tracking of the annual budget
Assist in maintaining building security and safety through electronic access controls, key management, and two-way radio system
Maintain all required certifications related to job responsibilities
Engages in the Rec Well professional internship development curriculum, all staff meetings, divisional committees, and other professional development responsibilities and opportunities
Develops targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
Identifies, proposes, and implements new or revised operational policies and procedures
Assists in implementing the staffing resource allocation plan including hiring, training, and supervision
Prepares and monitors budgets and purchases expenditures as needed
Coordinates logistics for events and programs

Required

HS Diploma – Required
Bachelor's Degree - Achieve or advancing towards Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
