Responsibilities
Mixes dough according to the procedure sheet or as directed by supervisor or manager
Makes sure that ingredients are suitable
Accurately weights and measures ingredients
Records dough times, temperatures, and ingredient usage on every batch of dough
Enters lot numbers on mixing sheet
Controls dough floor times to ensure a consistent finished product
Follows J&J Snack Food’s Food Safety Plan (FSP), the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program, the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
Follows all OSHA safety rules and all food safety laws and regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Requires minimum 6 months experience in mixing or batching ingredients in the food industry
Ability to safely operate industrial food mixer
Must be able to speak, read & write basic English
Must be able to do basic arithmetic
Preferred
Prefer High School diploma or GED
