FSQA Manager
Café Spice is a growing, multi-site food manufacturer producing ready-to-eat meals for national retail and foodservice customers. They are seeking a senior Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) Manager to lead and strengthen their programs across multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Own and lead all FSQA programs including HACCP, Preventive Controls, GMPs, SSOPs, sanitation, and environmental monitoring
Serve as primary lead for SQF, USDA, customer, and regulatory audits from preparation through close-out
Maintain USDA compliance including daily verification, labeling, and inspection readiness
Oversee sanitation systems including CIP where applicable and continuous improvement initiatives
Own the environmental monitoring and finished product testing programs in an RTE environment
Lead root cause investigations, CAPAs, and risk mitigation efforts
Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Sanitation to maintain a strong food safety culture
Manage, mentor, and develop FSQA staff
Support multi-site oversight and consistency of programs across facilities
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive experience in food safety and quality within food manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
Demonstrated ownership of SQF, USDA, and major customer audits
Experience in ready-to-eat and/or high-risk food environments
Strong working knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, Preventive Controls, USDA regulations, and labeling
Experience overseeing sanitation systems and environmental monitoring programs
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience supporting national retail or high-bar customer programs (e.g., Costco, Whole Foods)
