Responsibilities

Strong expertise in Java or Kotlin
Experience building microservices and distributed backend systems
Deep understanding of REST API design, request/response modeling, and versioning
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, or similar JVM based frameworks
Experience with asynchronous programming, concurrency, and multithreading
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and backend design patterns
Hands on experience with service performance, scalability, and reliability considerations
Expected Backend Concepts Knowledge
Microservice architecture
Event driven design (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Streaming, eventing, message listeners
API gateway patterns and service discovery
Dependency injection and inversion of control
Caching strategies (Redis, in memory caches)
Cloud storage services (e.g., AWS S3, GCS, etc.)
Relational and non relational databases (SQL + NoSQL)
Error handling, retry patterns, circuit breaker logic
Observability concepts: logging, metrics, distributed tracing
