Responsibilities

Participate in the identification of opportunities and development of business cases to drive Johnsonville sausage growth through innovation
Work with the front-of-funnel team and Associate Director of Consumer Insights & Analytics to identify the need for consumer insights, design and execute the learning plan, and disseminate learning internally to leadership, marketing, sales, and R&D to ensure internal alignment and understanding of consumer needs
Own the development of the insights agenda for the Johnsonville brand as it relates to assigned areas of responsibility
Help identify and manage outside vendors and third parties to maximize learning and value from projects. This entails actively engaging and leveraging partner intellectual horsepower, providing feedback for continual improved performance, and negotiating of contracts

Required

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Marketing, Social Science or a related field required
At least 3 years of solid Market Research/Insights/Business Analytics experience is required
Experience leveraging syndicated services and DIY research platforms (such as Circana POS, Panel & Consumption Data, Datassentials, 84.51, Scintilla, or Zappi) is required
Familiar with research tools and techniques to support CPG innovation development; both qualitative and quantitative
Ability to tell a story with data and comfortable presenting to leadership, focusing on representing the voice of the consumer for the Johnsonville organization
Solid analytical skills and ability to learn while doing if not already having a working knowledge of statistics, experimental design, survey creation and analysis, qualitative research
Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and proven ability to build effective partnerships with internal marketing and sales teams
Strong communication, organization and presentation skills (both written and oral)
Ability to lead and manage many projects at one time with willingness to roll up your sleeves to make it happen
Self-starter with the ability to work effectively as a part of a team while remote
Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time

Preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in providing consumer insights support to the early stages of the innovation process is desired
Previous experience within a leading FMCG or reputable research supplier working on CPG projects, preferred
Previous experience with Dollar, Club and/or C-Store channel insights is a plus
