Responsibilities
Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
Provide in-home care to patients
Prepare and record clinical notes for the clinical record
Perform assigned tasks ordered, including the administration of treatments and medications, and assessments of the patient’s overall health
Follow up with case managers and physicians as needed
Complete electronic documentation and paper documentation that meets the standards of state and federal guidelines
Participate in continuing education as required
Qualification
Required
Licensed and registered
CPR certified
Knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and HIPAA compliance
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, pass a fit to work physical, and be free of communicable diseases
