Responsibilities

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial statement preparation
Oversee accounting for development costs, project activity, debt, and intercompany transactions
Maintain general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and documentation standards
Lead payroll processing and accounting oversight
Design and improve accounting processes, templates, and internal controls
Coordinate with external tax advisors and support tax planning initiatives
Prepare management, investor, and board reporting materials
Track and reconcile project-level revenue, fees, and development spend
Partner with leadership on cash forecasting, scenario analysis, and planning
Build and maintain complex Excel-based financial models and operating schedules
Reconcile large datasets and produce audit-ready documentation
Translate financial data into executive-ready models without external FP&A support

Qualification

Required

5-7+ years in accounting, controllership, or corporate finance
2+ years Big 4 audit and 2+ years corporate experience
CPA or equivalent certification
Strong GAAP, technical accounting, and forecasting skills
Hands-on ownership of close and reporting processes
Experience with debt accounting and lender reporting
Advanced Excel modelling capabilities
High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset

Preferred

Experience in energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive sectors preferred
NetSuite and Ramp experience a plus
