Paint Process Engineering Assistant Manager
TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a strategic Paint Process Engineering Assistant Manager for a global automotive manufacturer in Ellabell, GA. In this role, you will lead production schedules and process monitoring, ensuring output aligns with demand through forecasting and operational control while overseeing paint shop operations and driving efficiency.

Responsibilities
Set and oversee paint shop targets (Production Units, Quality Index, and HPV) to ensure world-class output
Analyze production data to optimize productivity, improve car paint quality, and implement cost-reduction strategies
Lead the integration of new vehicle models, facility modifications, and the installation of next-generation painting technologies
Supervise, train, and mentor operators and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and high performance
Review and run supplementary investment items for process improvements and manage construction/trial run schedules
Act as a vital bridge between production lines and senior leadership, providing detailed reporting and ensuring seamless communication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering
3+ years of job-related experience, specifically within the automotive industry
Extensive knowledge of data analysis, production rate optimization (HPV), and Microsoft Office
A proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of external markets and current trends
Strong command of English
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship
Preferred
Fluency in Korean is an asset but not required
