QUALITY MEDICAL RECORDS ANALYST

Aspire Health Partners is committed to excellence in behavioral health care and is seeking a Quality Medical Records Analyst. This role is responsible for conducting internal audits, monitoring compliance with clinical and operational standards, and driving continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Plan, conduct, and document internal audits across clinical and administrative departments
Evaluate compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS, state regulations)
Identify gaps in documentation, processes, and clinical practices; recommend corrective actions
Collaborate with departments to ensure timely resolution of audit findings
Support the development and implementation of quality improvement projects aligned with strategic goals
Analyze performance metrics and clinical data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Facilitate root cause analyses and develop action plans for adverse events or performance issues
Monitor progress of quality initiatives and report outcomes to leadership
Prepare detailed audit reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and regulatory bodies
Maintain accurate records of audits, corrective actions, and follow-up activities
Assist in the preparation of accreditation and licensing documentation
Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to best practices
Provide education and training to staff on quality standards, documentation requirements, and audit readiness
Serve as a liaison between clinical teams and quality management to ensure alignment of goals
Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures

Qualification

Bachelor's degreeQuality assurance experienceBehavioral health knowledgeData analysis toolsHealthcare quality certificationAnalytical skillsCommunication skillsOrganizational skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance or internal auditing in a healthcare or behavioral health setting
Strong understanding of behavioral health regulations and clinical standards
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools and electronic health record systems
Ability to receive and maintain a Level II Background clearance
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Registration driver's license record in accordance with the underwriting guidelines set by Aspire insurance company

Preferred

Master's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Health Administration, or related field
Certification in healthcare quality (e.g., CPHQ) or internal auditing (e.g., CIA)
