Corporate Events Intern

They are seeking a highly motivated Summer Corporate Events Intern to gain hands-on experience in planning and executing corporate events, supporting logistics management, and assisting in post-event evaluations.

Responsibilities

Assist the events team in planning, coordinating, and executing various corporate events, such as tradeshows and conferences
Conduct research on potential venues, vendors, and suppliers for events
Collaborate with team members to develop event concepts, goals and objectives
Support logistics management, including exhibitor requirements, venue selection, F&B arrangements, audiovisual, and transportation
Assist in creating and managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and processing invoices
Coordinate event marketing and promotional efforts, including managing event registrations and 1x1 meeting support
Provide on-site event support during setup, execution, and teardown phases
Assist in post-event evaluations and analysis to identify areas of improvement for future events

Required

Currently enrolled in a degree program related to event management, marketing, hospitality, or a relevant field
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies (Cvent, Smartsheet, Jifflenow)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Workfront, and Smartsheet a plus
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
Must be available to work from Tuesday May 26th until Friday August 7th
Be at least 17 years of age prior to scheduled start date
Be currently enrolled at an accredited institution
Be enrolled at an accredited institution the semester immediately following the summer internship program (Fall 2026)
