Responsibilities
Provide an exceptional patient experience with a warm, welcoming environment
Check in patients who walk in through the main entrance at the Front Triage Desk
Check in patients who come in by ambulance or helicopter at the Ambulance Bay
Register patients at the bedside with portable computers on the ER Floor
Confirm patient demographics and collect/verify all insurance information for accuracy
Ensure ID/Insurance cards and consents are updated in the EMR system
Support self-pay process for patients without insurance coverage
Complete required documentation for Medicare patients prior to admissions, if needed
Qualification
Required
2+ years of work experience
