They are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a large-scale technology refresh project, involving troubleshooting hardware and software issues and assisting with device deployments in a client-facing environment.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Provide hands‑on support for computer hardware, software, operating systems, and basic network configurations
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through in‑person, phone‑based, or remote support
Install, remove, and configure devices and applications as part of deployment and refresh activities
Deliver professional, customer‑focused service and confidently address user concerns
Collaborate with end users, technical teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill service requests
Prioritize tasks effectively and escalate issues when appropriate
Maintain accurate asset records within the organization’s tracking system
Support ongoing project tasks and adapt to new assignments as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with end users
Solid time‑management skills and the ability to stay focused in a fast‑paced environment
Familiarity with device installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and refresh processes
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in team settings
Preferred
Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
Approximately 2 years of experience in IT support, deployment, or a related technical role preferred
Technical certifications are a plus
