Responsibilities

Assigning, scheduling, and supervising work of part-time maintenance staff
Scheduling and overseeing work provided by approved external vendors and contractors
Performing carpentry, electrical, masonry, and plumbing work and other building maintenance repairs
Coordinating the building maintenance budget
Assisting with room, exhibit and equipment set-up and breakdown
Cleaning and maintaining exterior fountains, pools and sculptures as needed

Required

High school diploma or equivalent plus some related college or vocational training
Two years of mechanical and maintenance experience demonstrating a broad variety of repair capabilities
Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid Class C Texas driver's license
Ability to respond to after-hours service calls concerning building maintenance emergencies
