Responsibilities
Provide medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients
Document all patient encounters in accordance with organizational policies
Collaborate with Medical Assistants and clinical teams to ensure regulatory compliance
Coordinate care with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient services
Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards
Participate in quality assurance initiatives and clinical problem-solving
Support special medical projects and on-site services as needed
Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain professional affiliations
Qualification
Required
MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. institution (or equivalent licensure)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, and/or Geriatric Medicine
Active or eligible unrestricted state medical license
Active, unrestricted DEA license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred
Two or more years of outpatient clinical experience
Active Medicare and Medicaid enrollment
Experience with Medicare Advantage and Value-Based Care models
Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Comfort working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Proficiency with technology and EHR systems, including Athena EMR
