Information Technology
Responsibilities
Installing data racks and cabinets
Running and terminating Cat6 and COAX cabling
Installing faceplates
Performing testing and labeling
Setting up DirecTV cable boxes, modems, and satellite dishes for individual rooms
Assisting with building out server closets and network infrastructure
Working indoors and outdoors at school buildings, apartments, and similar facilities
Occasional trenching or directional drilling
Taking direction from project leads
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 6 months of low-voltage experience
Technical schooling and hands-on training will also be considered
Installation of data racks and cabinets
Running and terminating Cat6 and COAX cabling
Installing faceplates
Performing testing and labeling
Setting up DirecTV cable boxes, modems, and satellite dishes
Assisting with building out server closets and network infrastructure
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
Occasional trenching or directional drilling
Taking direction from project leads
