Responsibilities

Installing a wide range of commercial electronic security systems for enterprise clients, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, electronic locks, low-voltage communication devices, point sensors, and various signaling components
Troubleshooting and commissioning newly installed systems to ensure proper functionality, code compliance, and alignment with project requirements
Traveling to client sites using a company-issued vehicle, performing system installations, validating performance, and documenting completed work
Running electrical and low-voltage wiring—such as drilling, trenching, mounting hardware, and completing aerial cable routes; while ensuring all wiring is neatly concealed and properly integrated with control panels and security software
Connecting panels, configuring applications, managing wire pathways, and completing miscellaneous field tasks such as maintaining clean and organized job sites

Required

Must have an in-depth understanding of installing different types of security systems including Access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems
Must have a cert or the same level of experience in one of the major brands
Must have a strong understanding of installing and programming CCTV cameras
High School Diploma, Vocational School Certificate, or equivalent education
2–3 years of experience installing field devices in the physical security, fire alarm, or low‑voltage communications industry
Ability to obtain any required state or local licensing after hire (such as Low Voltage or Alarm Installer licenses), as applicable to the role
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, meet deadlines, and operate with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and internal teams
Solid troubleshooting ability and mechanical aptitude
Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to complete daily time entry from home using an internet‑connected device
Ability to provide basic product or system familiarization training to end-users when needed

Preferred

Experience with one or more major security platforms preferred
