Dispute Specialist
TEKsystems is partnering with a local bank to hire a Dispute Specialist. In this role, you will process Mastercard, Zelle, and dispute claims while ensuring compliance with regulatory timeframes and providing excellent customer service.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Process Mastercard, Zelle, and ACH dispute claims accurately and efficiently
Ensure all claims are handled in accordance with regulatory timeframes
Correspond with customers, internal departments, and other financial institutions
Conduct research and documentation to support dispute resolution
Utilize 10-key, typing, and typewriter-by-touch skills (as applicable)
Perform data entry and maintain organized records
Handle customer calls with professionalism and clarity
Support the team with additional tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, dispute resolution, or card services
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
Proficiency with MS Office
10-key calculator proficiency and typing skills
Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm
