Responsibilities
Maintain and service building systems and utilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
Coordinate routine inspections, preventive maintenance schedules, and corrective repairs
Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, and local building code requirements
Support contractors and vendors for facility upgrades, maintenance activities, and emergency responses
Maintain documentation for maintenance activities, work orders, safety checks, and facility system records
Qualification
Required
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, or related technical field
5+ years of experience in facility or building systems maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and/or fire/life safety systems
Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance documentation practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour General Industry Certification
EPA Section 608 Certification (for handling refrigerants)
Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Electrical Safety Training
Preferred
NFPA fire protection awareness or technician-level training
Certified Facilities Technician (CFT) – IFMA
First Aid / CPR / AED Certification
