Responsibilities
Execute software V&V activities according to approved test plans and internal procedures
Design, write, and maintain medical-device related V&V documentation, including test cases, execution records, and traceability
Take end-to-end ownership of V&V activities for an assigned domain, including: o Test design and execution o Documentation and traceability o Defect reporting and follow-up
Perform manual and exploratory testing across mobile, web, and cloud systems
Manage defects in JIRA and verify fixes and regression impact
Prepare clear, audit-ready test evidence and support release readiness activities
Collaborate closely with R&D and cross-functional teams
Mentor and support other V&V engineers, including reviews of test artifacts and sharing best practices
Proactively identify quality risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or similar equivalent degree
4+ years of experience in software testing / verification / validation
Experience in medical-device or regulated software environments
Proven experience writing medical-device related V&V documentation
Experience mentoring or supporting other team members
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
Ability to work independently and take ownership of a defined internal domain
Strong ownership and accountability
Organized and detail-oriented
Proactive and collaborative
Comfortable working independently within defined processes
Preferred
Experience with test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
Experience testing mobile applications testing (iOS / Android)
Familiarity with FDA/CE expectations for software verification and validation in medical devices
Experience with risk-based testing in regulated or medical software products
Using API testing
