Director of Business Development
Kipling Capital is a private investment company specializing in alternative investments for high net worth individuals. They are seeking a Director of Business Development to lead marketing and business development efforts, focusing on deal origination and relationship building with sophisticated investors.

Responsibilities
Play a lead role in marketing and business development efforts
Participate in all aspects of deal origination and marketing process including deal identification, contract negotiation, due diligence and review, investment product branding, marketing plan development and direct marketing to high net worth investors and investment advisors
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in business development and marketing in the financial services sector
Developed personal relationships with high net worth investors and investment advisors in the Silicon Valley area
Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a collaborative, team-based, results-oriented environment
Effective communication skills and the ability to work with a broad base of sophisticated clients
High integrity, strong work ethic and attention to detail
Independence of thought, intellectual curiosity, and an entrepreneurial nature
Ability to obtain a Series 7 or SIE, Series 22 and 63 securities licenses
Preferred
Established alternative investment/real estate industry relationships and network to gain access to deal flow a plus
Strong academic credentials, MBA/CFA or CFP a plus
