Responsibilities
Own technical deliverables across the full project lifecycle
Serve as technical lead for the implementation of complex software solutions
Collaborate with customers to define technical requirements and estimate implementation effort
Influence system design, architecture, and functionality to ensure projects meet budget, timeline, and customer expectations
Partner with Project Managers and Services Consultants to scope application changes and follow change-management processes
Provide technical support for Wholesale Electricity Market Management (MMS) applications
Drive standardization, minimize customization, and maximize reuse of existing solutions
Collaborate with Product Development, Commercial teams, Customers, and Integration Partners
Perform installation, configuration, customization, and interface development per agreed specifications
Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with internal teams and customers
Act as a technical mentor and leader on complex customer implementations
Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proactively identify system issues, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities
Track issue resolution, document solutions, and create troubleshooting guides
Support pre-sales technical strategy as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
10–15 years of professional experience in a Market Management System (MMS) technical lead role
10+ years of experience working with Independent System Operators (ISOs), Market Participants, or Wholesale energy market vendors
Deep expertise in Market Management Systems (MMS)
Strong understanding of Unit Commitment and Economic Dispatch
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving MMS issues
Strong knowledge of Power System applications
Proven experience applying architecture development processes across project lifecycles
Experience deploying solutions in on-premise and/or cloud environments
Ability to break down complex scenarios into actionable solutions
Strong coaching and mentoring skills in problem-solving and troubleshooting
Solid knowledge of DevOps, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control management
Strong experience with Git (and related tools)
